Mountain Lion Hunts

Pursuing these stealthy predators is one of the most intense and thrilling hunts in north America! Our lion hunts are up to 5 days long which include lodging at Skyline Outfitters, meals, and being guided by a skilled lion guide with his very well-trained dogs. We will hunt right from the lodge and use either side-by-sides or snowmobiles. There are many cats in the area and have averaged in the 125-145 lb. range. To date, our lion hunts on average have not lasted more than a day before harvesting a mature cat. After booking a lion hunt, you will be added to the on-call list. We will be in frequent contact with you, looking at the weather to schedule the hunt. If you are second on the list and the first guy cannot come for some reason, you are up to bat.  We attribute our high success rate to waiting for perfect conditions for finding a fresh track to release the hounds on. Having a flexible scheduled is a plus when looking to come on a lion hunt.

We charge $5500 for the hunt. This covers the first day(with lodging the night before and after). Each additional day of hunting is $500 up to a total of 5 days. So a 5 day(6 night) hunt would end up costing $7500. If a cat over 150 lbs is harvested a $2000 trophy fee is due. This will only apply after the harvest and the cat has been weighed.

We hunt lions from Oct 1st to April 30th, and the tags are OTC and one of the Areas we hunt has no quota, so you don't have to worry about that being filled before you even make it out to the ranch for your hunt.
